It offers material I've written and continue to write -

God's call to the Methodist Church is to live up to its historic calling at the present time.
God's call to the whole Church is to honour him as God and ask him to do what he wants.
God's call to individuals is to say Yes to him and live in a relationship of love with him.

Born in 1946, I studied at Oxford, Cambridge and Tubingen (Germany).

I have worked as a Methodist minister in local appointments
in Bournemouth, Worcester, Nottinghamshire, Plymouth, Chelmsford and Chesterfield.

I also worked six years as a computer programmer for a Mail Order Company.

I am married to Heather.

Prayer

God our Father,
Your will be done through your Church.
We do not ask it with passive resignation
but in active pursuit of what pleases you.

Risen Jesus,
Do what is in your own heart to do,
Drawing many more to be your disciples.

Come, Holy Spirit.
Show us your fresh touch on inherited things.
Help us beyond the limits of our own resource.

Lord God, your purposes.
Jesus Christ, your passion.
Holy Spirit, your power.
